Ashburn Village Pavilion

I just took a tour of the Ashburn Village Pavilion, and I was extremely impressed with the facility.



The building is located right off of Ashburn Village Boulevard, in the heart of Ashburn. The 32,000 square foot facility includes indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center with equipment, two racquetball courts, outdoor tennis courts(with a temperature controlled bubble for the colder months), a squash court, a full size basketball gymnasium, and locker rooms. The facility also has a "Kid Zone", which allows parents to work out while their children participate in kid activities.

The Pavilion is available to the residents of Ashburn Village, as well as guests of residents. The Pavilion is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday thru Friday, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Great Rates for Buyers and Homeowners

Interest rates continue to remain very low http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38467238, and potential buyers, as well as homeowners who are already in a mortgage, need to take note.

As far as anybody who is considering entering home ownership, now is as good as ever. In fact, you can't even rent for as cheaply as you can own.

Taking a look at Ashburn's 2 bedroom rentals for example, you can barely get into a 2 bedroom/2 bath for $1,500/month. As of this posting, only two active MLS rental listings of 2 bedrooms or more, were listed for less than $1,500. I also checked two different leasing offices in Ashburn, and their 2 bedrooms were now renting for between $1,650 and $1,700/month.

Apply today's interest rates to the same properties listed 'For Sale', and you'll find that the mortgage payment would be lower than the rent payment, plus you get the benefit of the tax write-off.

Homeowners who are currently in a mortgage, should definitely inquire about rates as well. Many homeowners are in 'Arm' structured loans, whose rates will expire soon or in a few years. My advice would be to contact a lender or two, and have the lender(s) quote and/or talk to you about a refinance.

Chloe Terrace- Ashburn, Va




Here are the first two videos from the preview I conducted in Ashburn Village earlier. This is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, brick front, interior townhouse unit. The asking price for this property is $239,900, and its a bank owned. Overall, the condition is not too bad, and I think its a great starter or investment buy.

Chloe Terrace



I am currently uploading video from my Flip Video camera. To be honest, this program is a pain in the boo-tox. Or maybe I'm just an idiot. Anyway, Flip Video has its own software, and its confusing to convert the video out of their software, onto my computer, and then into this blog. I think I'm making progress, but who knows? I should know soon, as I do believe the file is uploading now.

What I did earlier was preview a bank owned townhouse on Chloe Terrace in Ashburn, and I took my Flip Cam with me. I was hoping to get some feedback from people who watch it. Hopefully the next post I make contains the video itself. In the meantime, I've uploaded a pic of my dogs. Its from last Halloween when the two dorks (my wife and I) dressed our dogs up in costumes.
